From your agency console you open a client to work on their account. This guide covers opening a client, what is in front of you while you are there, how to leave, and what happens to your access when a client link is removed.
1. Open a client
Go to your agency console and choose the client you want to work on. creavio puts you into that client's workspace. While you are there, a bar shows the client's name so you always know whose account you are in, alongside the control that takes you back out.
2. What you can work on
Inside a client workspace the tools are grouped in two zones:
- Reports: Overview, Ads, Analytics, Organic, and Listening. These read the client's data over the date range you pick.
- Tools: Media (the client's asset library), Info (the client's workspace details), and Connections (the client's linked social, ads, and analytics accounts).
What you can actually change inside these is set by your role and your product scope on that client. An analyst or viewer sees the reports but cannot create or edit; an editor can create and schedule; an admin can manage the connections. If a product is not in your scope, you will not see it here.
3. Switch back out
To leave, use the exit control on the workspace bar. It reads exit to agency and takes you back to your agency console. Exiting also ends your working session on that client on the server, so nothing is left open behind you. If you manage several clients, you can go straight back to your full client list from the same bar.
Why access can end without warning
Your ability to work in a client's workspace depends on a live link between your agency and that client, and on your own active role. creavio checks both on every request. If the client ends the link, or someone at your agency removes your access, your session stops working on your next action. You do not stay in a client's workspace after your access to it is gone.
