See your revenue in motion
The deal pipeline in creavio gives you a visual overview of every potential and confirmed booking — from first inquiry to final payment. Instead of guessing how much revenue is in the pipeline, you can see it laid out in stages and act on the deals that need attention. Whether you're tracking three weddings or thirty portrait sessions, the pipeline keeps your business visible. This guide shows you how to set up and use it.
Before you begin
- Have at least one client in your CRM (see Getting started with the CRM).
- Think about your sales stages. A common flow for photographers is: Inquiry → Consultation → Proposal Sent → Booked → Completed.
Step-by-step
- Navigate to the Pipeline. Click Pipeline or Deals in the sidebar to open the deal pipeline view.
- Review the default stages. creavio comes with pre-built stages that work for most creative businesses. You can customize stage names and order to match your actual sales process.
- Create your first deal. Click New Deal and fill in the details: deal name (e.g., "Johnson Wedding — June 2026"), associated client, estimated value, and expected close date.
- Place it in the right stage. Assign the deal to its current stage. A new inquiry starts in the first stage, while a confirmed booking might go directly to "Booked."
- Move deals as they progress. Drag deals from one stage to the next as conversations advance. Each move updates the pipeline totals automatically.
- Track pipeline value. The top of the pipeline shows total value at each stage. Use this to forecast revenue and identify which stages need more attention.
- Close or archive deals. When a deal is won (booked and paid), mark it as closed-won. Lost deals can be marked closed-lost so you can track your conversion rate over time.
Pro tips
- Don't skip stages. Moving every deal through each stage gives you accurate conversion data over time.
- Review your pipeline weekly. Deals that sit in one stage too long are at risk — follow up before they go cold.
- Use deal values consistently. If your wedding package is $5,000, enter $5,000 — not a range. Accurate values make your revenue forecast reliable.
