When your agency asks to manage a client's existing creavio workspace, the client is the one who approves it. This guide is written to be shared with your client, so they know exactly what to expect and what they are agreeing to.
The email they receive
Your client gets an email with the subject line "your agency name would like to manage your workspace on creavio." The email explains that the agency has asked to manage the social side of their creavio workspace, that approving only links the agency to help, that it does not transfer ownership, and that they can end it at any time. Nothing changes until they approve. The email has a button that opens the review page.
The review page
The button opens a page that shows who is asking and which workspace it is about. The client does not need to log in to use it, and the page presents two clear choices:
- Approve. This links the agency so it can help run the workspace.
- Decline. This makes no changes and does not link the agency.
If the client declines, they see a confirmation that nothing was changed and the agency has not been linked.
What approving does, and does not, grant
Approving is a link, not a handover. It does not transfer the account. Specifically, when a client approves:
- They keep their own login and their own account.
- The agency is linked to help manage the workspace, subject to creavio's normal access rules.
- They can end the link at any time from their account, and their access is unaffected.
The request link is time-limited, so if it has expired the client should ask the agency to send a fresh one. This flow is only for an existing, independent client account. If the agency is creating a brand-new workspace for a client instead, that is a different path, covered in Add clients: create new or adopt existing.
