Year-End Business Review

Year-End Business Review

At the end of every year, take time to review your numbers, identify what worked, and plan for the year ahead. creavio's reporting tools give you the data you need to make informed business decisions.

Revenue Analysis

Start with the big picture. Go to Reports > Revenue and review:

  • Total revenue: How much did you bring in this year? Compare to last year if available.
  • Revenue by session type: Which types of sessions generated the most income? Weddings, portraits, mini sessions, commercial?
  • Revenue by month: Identify your peak months and slow seasons. This helps with cash flow planning.
  • Average booking value: Are clients spending more or less per session compared to last year?

Client Metrics

Navigate to Reports > Clients to understand your client base:

  • Total new clients: How many new clients did you serve?
  • Repeat clients: What percentage came back for another session? High repeat rates mean strong client satisfaction.
  • Client acquisition source: Where do your best clients come from? Referrals, Instagram, Google, wedding directories?
  • Inquiry-to-booking conversion rate: What percentage of inquiries turned into paying clients?

Session Volume

Review Reports > Sessions to see:

  • Total sessions photographed
  • Sessions per month
  • Cancellation and no-show rate
  • Average turnaround time (booking to gallery delivery)

  3. Average booking value: Can you raise prices, add products, or upsell more effectively?
