creavio write privacy policy
Who this covers
creavio write is a browser extension for people whose agency gave them a creavio write seat. This policy covers the extension and the parts of creavio it talks to. Your creavio account itself is covered by the creavio Privacy Policy.
In short
- Spelling and grammar underlines are checked on your computer. Nothing is sent for them.
- Juno is the AI in creavio write. It runs on Claude, made by Anthropic. Juno suggestions are off until you turn them on: the first time you sign in, the extension shows a screen that says what they send, with a "Turn on Juno suggestions" button, and sends nothing for them until you click it. Once on, Juno suggestions send, when you pause typing, the paragraphs you typed or edited after you turned them on. Text that was already in the field is sent only if you type or delete characters in that paragraph (starting a new line inside it does not count), and quoted replies and forwarded messages that your mail app marks as quoted are never sent. Improve sends the text you select, whatever it is, or the prompt you type, when you click a button.
- That text, and any instruction you type for Improve, goes to creavio with the name of the site (such as mail.google.com). creavio sends the text and instruction, but not the site name, to Anthropic, our AI provider, only to produce the answer; for Improve it adds your agency's style guide voice and banned words.
- Check originality sends the text you select to Copyscape only when you click Check, and only for the checks you picked: plagiarism, AI-written text, or both. For the plagiarism check, Copyscape searches the web for the text, or for parts of it, through Google. Copyscape told us in writing that it keeps checked text for 14 days and then deletes it. Copyscape staff can access the text during those 14 days. Copyscape has not signed a data processing agreement with us, so do not run either check on text that contains personal information about anyone.
- creavio does not store the text you type or the text Juno writes back. Our server logs do record your IP address and the address of each request.
- Google Docs: the side panel's Google Docs view reads the doc open in your tab only while that view is open on it, with your own Google sign-in, straight from Google to the extension on your computer. The doc is checked on your computer and is not sent to creavio, except a paragraph you send with Improve this paragraph, which goes to creavio and Anthropic only when you click. Fixes go into the doc only when you click, as a direct edit (or as a suggestion the doc's owner can accept or reject, if your agency chose that). Your Google sign-in stays in your browser and is never sent to creavio. Signing out of creavio write disconnects Google.
- We do not sell personal information. When you choose to run an originality check, you direct us to send the selected text to an outside checking service; under Cal. Civ. Code 1798.140(ad)(2)(A) that is a disclosure you direct, not a sale. Because that service has no contract with us, regulators may treat it as a sale or sharing (11 CCR 7050(e)), so you can opt out at any time by not ticking, or by withdrawing consent in the extension's Settings, which stops all originality checks. We do not use it for advertising.
What runs on your computer
Spelling, grammar and clarity underlines come from Harper, an open source checker that is packaged inside the extension. The extension reads the text of the fields you write in and checks it inside the extension on your computer. It makes no network request to do this, and underlines work when you are signed out.
The extension watches your typing in those fields, on your computer, to know when you pause, which paragraphs you changed, and when you type a snippet shortcut. It also watches where you point and click on the page, to open its cards. Your keystrokes and clicks are not sent or stored; only the text described under "What is sent, and when" is sent.
What is sent, and when
Juno suggestions (automatic)
Juno suggestions send nothing until you turn them on. Right after you connect the extension, it opens a page that explains what Juno suggestions send, with two buttons: "Turn on Juno suggestions" and "Not now". The extension's menu shows the same explanation the first time you open it while signed in, if you have not answered yet. Until you click "Turn on Juno suggestions", the extension sends nothing for Juno suggestions on any site. Your answer applies to you on this browser and is kept on your computer; if someone else signs in to creavio write on this browser, they are asked too. If we change what Juno suggestions send, the new version of the extension asks you again, and sends nothing for them until you turn them on again.
When you are signed in, have turned Juno suggestions on, and they are on for the site, the extension waits until you pause typing for less than a second (about a quarter of a second right after you end a sentence with a period, question mark or exclamation mark). It then sends each paragraph of the field you are typing in that you typed or edited since you opened the page and after you turned Juno suggestions on, and that has not been checked yet, if the paragraph has at least 3 words and no more than 1,200 characters. A paragraph is a line of text: a new line starts a new paragraph. Text that was already in the field when you started, such as a prefilled reply or a saved draft, is not sent unless you type or delete characters in that paragraph; then that whole paragraph is sent. Pressing Enter to split a paragraph, or Backspace to join two, is not an edit: each part is still text that was already there. If you edit a paragraph and then split it, only the part that holds your change counts as edited. It also sends the name of the site, such as mail.google.com.
Each version of a paragraph is sent once while your browser is open. The extension remembers the last 300 paragraphs it checked until you close the browser; after that, a paragraph you edit again can be sent again.
Improve (only when you click)
When you click a rewrite button in the Improve panel, the extension sends the text you selected (up to 6,000 characters), the kind of rewrite you chose, and any instruction you typed (up to 300 characters). Write from a prompt sends the prompt you typed. Improve reads your selection at the moment you click, on the page you are on. It sends whatever you selected, including text you did not write, such as part of an email you received, if you select it and click. It also sends the name of the site, such as mail.google.com, so your agency's Google Docs setting can apply. If your agency has a style guide, creavio adds the guide's voice and banned words to the request, so the rewrite follows the team's style.
Google Docs (only while the Google Docs view is open)
The side panel's Google Docs view reads the doc open in your tab only while that view is open on it. The extension asks Chrome for permission to reach docs.google.com, the Google Docs API (docs.googleapis.com) and Google's sign-in service (oauth2.googleapis.com), and for Chrome's Google sign-in ("identity"). When your extension updates to the version that adds this view, Chrome may turn it off until you accept the new permission.
Connecting Google. Nothing happens with Google until you click Connect Google in the side panel's Google Docs view. Chrome then shows Google's own screen, which asks you to allow one permission, worded by Google as "See, edit, create, and delete all your Google Docs documents". creavio write uses it only as described here: it reads the one doc open in your tab while the Google Docs view is open on it, and writes to that doc only when you click a fix. It never creates or deletes a doc and never opens a doc you have not opened. Chrome keeps the Google access token; the extension does not save it, sends it only to Google (docs.googleapis.com, and oauth2.googleapis.com when you disconnect), and never sends it to creavio.
What is read. While the Google Docs view is open on a doc, the extension takes the doc's ID from the tab's address and downloads the doc from the Google Docs API with your Google access. Google sends the whole doc: its title, its tabs, the text of each tab (including tables), headers, footers and footnotes, links to its images, people mentioned in it (smart chips) with their email addresses, the suggestions already in it, and its revision number. Harper and your agency's style guide check only the body text of the tab you are on, on your computer. creavio does not store any of it, and none of it is sent to creavio, except a paragraph you send with Improve this paragraph (below). To know whether you can edit, only comment, or only view the doc, the extension sends Google one request that Google refuses without changing the doc (an edit of an empty range). While the view stays open and visible, the extension asks Google about every 30 seconds whether the doc changed (its revision number; for a doc you can only view, it downloads the doc again and compares it on your computer), so it can offer Refresh. The doc's text is kept only in the extension's memory while the view shows that doc. It is not saved and is not sent to creavio.
What is written to the doc, and only when you click. When you click Accept or Suggest on an issue, the extension sends Google that one change. If you can edit the doc, it goes in as a change to the text, or, if your agency chose suggestions, as a suggestion the doc's owner can accept or reject. If you can only comment, it goes in as a suggestion; if Google refuses that, the extension adds a comment to the doc with the fix instead. If you can only view the doc, nothing is written. Dismiss hides that fix in the panel. Clicking an issue scrolls that word into view when Google Docs allows it. Otherwise the card keeps the sentence and tells you to press Ctrl+F (Cmd+F on Mac) and search for the word, and a Copy button copies that search phrase. The typing cursor does not move. A dismissed fix is remembered on this computer as a one-way code for that doc, not the words. The code stays until you disconnect Google or sign out. It is not sent to creavio. Suggestions and comments show your Google name to everyone who can see the doc, like any suggestion you make yourself.
What creavio gets. Each time the view reads a doc, and before each fix, the extension asks creavio whether your seat is active and how your agency wants fixes put in. Those requests carry no doc text, no doc ID and no doc title. Improve this paragraph, only when you click it and only if your agency allows AI on Google Docs, sends that paragraph's text to creavio and Anthropic exactly like Improve on any other site, with the site name docs.google.com, and puts the result into the doc only if you click Replace in doc or Suggest in doc. Juno suggestions never run in the Google Docs view, and nothing about a doc is sent to creavio automatically.
Disconnecting. Disconnect Google, in the extension's Settings page or at the bottom of the Google Docs view, asks Google to cancel the extension's access and removes Chrome's copy of the token. Signing out of creavio write does the same, however it happens: clicking Sign out, your agency's admin removing your seat, or your sign-in being cancelled or expiring (in those cases, as soon as the extension next hears from creavio). So does another person signing in to creavio write on this browser. The extension then stays disconnected until you click Connect Google again. You can also remove creavio write's access from your Google Account.
docs.google.com is still not one of the extension's built-in sites for underlines: the extension runs nothing on Google Docs pages unless you turn it on there yourself with Enable on this site. If you turn creavio write on for docs.google.com yourself, Juno suggestions work there like on any other site you enable: they can send paragraphs you type or edit in text fields on those pages, such as comments, unless your agency turned Juno suggestions or AI off for Google Docs.
Check originality (only when you click)
creavio turns Check originality on or off for all agencies at once. When it is on and you open the Check originality tab, the extension first sends only the number of words and characters in your selection, the checks you picked and the name of the site, so creavio can show the price and whether the check can run. No text is sent for that. When you click Check, the extension sends the text you selected (up to 50,000 characters, and no more words than your agency allows per check), the checks you picked and the name of the site. Like Improve, it sends whatever you selected, including text you did not write. creavio then sends the text to Copyscape once for each check you picked; a check you did not pick is not sent. Do not run either check on text that contains personal information about anyone (see "Copyscape, our originality service" below).
Signing in and your account
When you connect the extension, creavio records your seat email, the extension's ID and its version. While you are signed in, the extension asks creavio for your seat status and your spend this month, and downloads your agency's style guide rules, team snippets and team dictionary (when you sign in, then in the background about once an hour, as described under "What is never sent"). The style guide is checked on your computer: what you type is not sent to check it.
Where it goes
Everything above, except the Google Docs requests, which go only to Google as described under Google Docs, is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to creavio at api.creav.io, which runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare hosts our servers, database and short cache, and our server logs. For Juno suggestions and Improve, creavio sends the text (not the site name) to Anthropic and returns the answer to the extension. For Check originality, creavio sends the text (not the site name, your name or your email) over HTTPS to Copyscape, once for each check you picked (the plagiarism check, the AI-text check, or both), and returns the results to the extension.
What is never sent
- Anything for spelling and grammar underlines.
- Text from the pages you read, in the background. (Improve and Check originality send text from a page only when you select it and click.) While you are signed in, the extension makes two kinds of background request. First, when a page loads on a site where creavio write is on, or you open the extension's menu, and its copy of your agency's style guide, snippets and dictionary is more than an hour old, it downloads a fresh copy from creavio. Second, when the extension starts (for example when the browser opens, or after an install or update), right after you sign in, and when a page needs them, it reads your agency's settings for automatic Juno suggestions and your usage this month from creavio, unless it already has a current answer. A current answer is one creavio gave for your sign-in less than an hour ago (less than ten minutes ago if it says suggestions are off) and, if it says suggestions are on, since the browser started. After a failed read it waits 30 seconds before trying again. Separately, each time you open the extension's menu or side panel, it asks creavio for your seat status, these settings and your usage, as described under "Signing in and your account". All of these requests carry the extension's short-lived access token and no text from the page. If that access token has expired or is missing (it always is after the browser restarts), the extension first renews it, which sends your sign-in token for refreshing access and the extension's version.
- Selections inside password fields, search boxes, and email, phone, web address, number and other non-text inputs, for Improve or Check originality.
Juno suggestions never send:
- other fields, the rest of the page, or emails you received;
- text that was already in the field when you started typing, in a paragraph where you have not typed or deleted any characters (splitting it onto new lines does not count as an edit);
- quoted text in a message you are writing: quoted replies and forwarded messages (for example Gmail's quoted text, Outlook's "From: … Sent: …" header and everything after it, blockquotes and lines starting with ">"), and email signatures that the mail app marks as a signature or that start with a "-- " line. A signature you typed yourself without that marking is treated as your own text;
- password fields, and email, phone, web address, number and other non-text inputs; fields that a site marks as name, address, phone, birthday, card or one-time code fields; search boxes; code editors; read-only fields; and fields that turn spell check off, except the main editing area of Lexical and Quill editors, which turn spell check off for their own reasons and are still checked;
- fields that a site marks as off limits to writing tools (
data-creavio-write="off",data-gramm="false",data-gramm_editor="false"ordata-enable-grammarly="false"); - anything from sites where you turned Juno suggestions or underlines off, or other sites you never turned on.
creavio write is on from the moment it is installed on these sites: Gmail (mail.google.com), Outlook on the web (outlook.office.com, outlook.office365.com and outlook.live.com), Slack (app.slack.com), LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com) and Notion (app.notion.com and www.notion.so). There, underlines work right away. Juno suggestions run there only while you are signed in and after you have clicked "Turn on Juno suggestions". Every other site is off until you turn it on.
What creavio stores
creavio does not store the text you type, the text you select, or the text Juno writes back. Our code does not write it to our database or our logs, and when our AI provider rejects a request we do not log or keep the error message it sends back, which could repeat some of your text (see "Logs and error reports" below). We keep only these records:
- Your seat: agency, email, role, status (invited, active or removed), monthly spending cap, who added you, when you were last active, the extension version, and when the seat was created, changed or removed.
- Your signed-in browsers: for each browser, a session ID, a hashed copy of the sign-in token, your seat, agency and email, the extension's ID and version, when it was created and when it expires, when it was last used, if and why it was signed out, and which session replaced it when the sign-in token was renewed.
- Sign-in codes: a hashed one-time code, your agency, seat and email, the extension's ID and a one-time number from it, when it was created, valid for 5 minutes and used once.
- Usage: for each AI request, the agency, seat, email, whether it was a suggestion or a rewrite, the provider and model, the number of tokens in and out, the cost, whether it worked, a request ID and the time. For each originality check that runs, one record per check, with the same fields, where the provider is Copyscape, the model says which check it was, and the amount is the number of words Copyscape checked. If a click is refused because it would go over a spending limit, nothing is sent and we keep one record, with no cost, for the check that hit the limit. The results of a check (the pages found, the scores) are not kept. We also keep running monthly totals per person and per team, and the team's creavio write settings (monthly cap, default cap for new seats, seat limit, length limits, the switches for Juno suggestions and Google Docs, and how Google Docs fixes are applied) with the email of the admin who last changed them.
- Platform AI cost record: for each AI request, the feature name, model, tokens, cost, time taken, status and, if the request failed, a short code for why: the HTTP status and the AI provider's error type (one of a fixed list, such as invalid_request_error), or that it timed out or the connection failed. It never includes the provider's error message, and it does not include your name, email or agency.
- Your agency's writing setup: the style guide (voice, banned words, preferred spellings, capitalized terms, inclusive terms) with the email of the admin who last changed it, team snippets and snippets an admin made for you (shortcut, title, text, the email of the person it is for and of the admin who made it) and the team dictionary (each word and the email of the admin who added it), with when each was created or changed. These are written by your agency's admins in creavio, not taken from what you type in the extension.
- Emails we send you: when your seat is added or restored, creavio emails you a link to connect the extension, and keeps a record of the email address, subject, whether it was sent, and the error if it failed. The email is delivered by our email provider, Resend.
- Admin changes: an audit record when a seat is added, changed, removed or restored (including when a seat is removed because the person's access to the agency was taken away), when the team's creavio write settings or style guide are changed, and when a team snippet or dictionary word is added, changed or deleted. It records the person who made the change (their own email, also when they act through the agency's account), their IP address and browser, and what changed: for seats, the seat's email and its role and monthly cap; for settings, the old and new values; for the style guide, which sections changed and how many entries each list now has; for snippets, the shortcut and, for a snippet made for one person, that person's email; for dictionary words, the word that was added (a deletion records only which entry was deleted).
For speed, creavio may also keep a copy of your seat and session record in a short cache. Copies in the short cache expire after 60 seconds.
Logs and error reports
Our server logs record, for every request to api.creav.io, including creavio write requests: your IP address, the request method and path (for example POST /agency/writing/suggest), the response status, how long it took, a request ID and Cloudflare's request ID. Our code does not write the text you send, or the text Juno writes back, to these logs.
If a request to the AI provider fails, our code writes lines to our server log with our request ID and either the HTTP status, the provider's error type (one of a fixed list, such as invalid_request_error) and the provider's own request ID, which we need if we ask the provider for help, or, if the request timed out or the connection failed, the kind of error, and whether we charged the request to your limit. It never logs or keeps the provider's error message or the rest of its response, because that message could repeat part of your text. Those log lines can also appear in a Sentry error report as recent log lines.
Errors and a sample of request timings are reported to Sentry, our error-monitoring service. A report can include the request address and path, a fixed list of request headers that never carry a password or sign-in token (your browser's user agent, the content type and length, the languages and formats your browser accepts, the page that made the request without its query string, the site origin and host, browser client hints and fetch details, Cloudflare's request id and country code, our request id, and, as our server logs also record, your IP address), recent log lines from our server code, and the error. Every other header is removed before a report is sent, including the Authorization header that carries your sign-in token. Reports never include the request body, which holds your text, or your cookies, on any request. Values in the request address are replaced with "[filtered]", except a short list of everyday settings such as the page number or date range.
Agency admins see your seat and your usage records. They never see your text.
How long we keep it
- Text you send for Check originality: creavio does not keep it. Copyscape told us it keeps it for 14 days and then deletes it. Copyscape staff can access it during those 14 days.
- The record of each email we send you about your seat is deleted after 90 days.
- Admin change records, including those for style guide, snippet and dictionary changes, are deleted 1 year after they were made.
- A sign-in code stops working after 5 minutes. A signed-in browser stops working if it has not renewed its sign-in for 30 days, and usually within a minute, at most a few minutes, when your seat is removed. The records of codes and sessions stay until your agency's creavio account is deleted, as described below.
- Copies in the short cache expire after 60 seconds.
- Your seat, your signed-in browsers, sign-in codes, usage records and monthly totals, the team's creavio write settings and your agency's writing setup are kept while your agency's creavio account exists, because creavio needs them to run seats, sign-in and spending caps and to show admins what each seat costs. Removing your seat does not delete them. They are deleted when your agency's creavio account is deleted: at once when creavio deletes the account, and in a background job that creavio queues when your agency deletes its own account. If the job fails, it is retried automatically; a job that still fails, or that could not be queued, is logged for creavio's team. When creavio carries out a request to erase an agency's data, it waits 30 days after the request is recorded and then deletes these records in its daily run at 03:00 UTC. Admin change records are not deleted with the account; they are deleted 1 year after they were made.
- The platform AI cost record has no name, email or agency in it, so it cannot be tied to you or your agency, and it is not deleted automatically.
- Your agency's admins can delete team snippets and dictionary words at any time; the audit record of the change is kept for 1 year, like other admin change records. To ask about deleting your records sooner, email [email protected].
Anthropic, our AI provider
Juno, the AI behind Juno suggestions and Improve, is Claude, made by Anthropic, used through Anthropic's commercial API. Anthropic's Commercial Terms of Service say that Anthropic "may not train models on Customer Content from Services". Anthropic says it automatically deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days, with some exceptions such as policy enforcement and legal requirements (Anthropic: how long data is stored). Anthropic's own privacy policy explains how it handles data.
Copyscape, our originality service
Both originality checks, plagiarism and AI-written text, use the Copyscape Premium API from Indigo Stream Technologies Ltd. Copyscape is our only originality service. creavio sends text to Copyscape only when you click Check, and only for the checks you picked.
Copyscape's privacy policy, shown on its terms page, says "The search terms you provide Indigo Stream will be used only to run automated plagiarism searches on your behalf. Your email address and search terms will not be given or sold to any third parties" (Copyscape terms and privacy policy). Here "your behalf" means creavio's, because creavio is Copyscape's customer. That policy speaks of plagiarism searches; for the AI-text check, we rely only on Copyscape's written statement below.
Copyscape told us in writing on October 10, 2026 that it keeps submitted text for 14 days on its own systems, and then permanently deletes it. Copyscape staff can access the text during those 14 days. Copyscape told us that it does not use submitted text for any other purpose, such as improving its service or training algorithms; and that it does not add submitted text to any index used to check other people's text.
For the plagiarism check, Copyscape says it "uses Google as a search provider, under agreed terms" (Copyscape FAQs), so the checked text, or parts of it, is searched on the web through Google. Copyscape has not told us exactly what it sends to Google, what Google keeps, or in which countries Copyscape processes checked text. For a transfer of that text from the EEA or the United Kingdom, we rely on your explicit consent, given when you tick Allow originality checks (GDPR Article 49(1)(a)), after you are shown these words: "It has not told us which countries it processes text in. If that is outside the US, the EU or the UK, there may be no legal finding that the country protects data adequately and no contract safeguards for your text."
Copyscape provides its service to creavio on its standard terms and has not signed a data processing agreement with creavio. For that reason, do not run the plagiarism check or the AI-text check on text that contains personal information about anyone.
Originality results are estimates. A plagiarism match or an AI-text score does not prove who wrote a text, and a clean result does not prove that it is original.
What the extension stores on your computer
The extension uses Chrome's extension storage. It is locked so that only the extension's own pages and background worker can read it, never the web pages you visit.
- Google Docs (while the Google Docs view is open): whether you clicked Disconnect Google (yes or no), until you click Connect Google or remove the extension. The text of the doc open in the Google Docs view is held only in memory while the view shows it. The Google access token is kept by Chrome, not in the extension's storage.
- Google Docs dismissed fixes: one-way codes for the fixes you dismissed, kept per document until you disconnect Google, sign out, or remove the extension. A code is not the words of the doc, and it is not sent to creavio.
- Until you remove the extension: your sign-in token for refreshing access, your email, a copy of your seat status, role and cap, your agency's name, your English dialect, your personal dictionary, your own snippets and snippet shortcut, a copy of your agency's style guide rules, team snippets and team dictionary (removed when you sign out), whether your agency turned Juno suggestions off (for every site, or for Google Docs) as yes-or-no values with the time creavio last answered and a random number that stands for your sign-in (this survives a browser restart, but the extension uses it only for the same sign-in and only for an hour after that time, then asks creavio again), the sites where you turned underlines or Juno suggestions off, your answer to the Juno suggestions screen (on or not now, which version of the screen you answered, when, and the email you were signed in with), and fingerprints of the issues you ignored and the phrases you asked it to stop suggesting. These fingerprints are one-way codes, not the text itself.
- Until you close the browser (Chrome also clears these when the extension is updated, reloaded or turned off): a short-lived access token (one hour), the one-time number used while you connect, fingerprints of the last 300 paragraphs already sent (so they are not sent again), whether suggestions are paused, and whether creavio has confirmed your agency's settings for Juno suggestions since the browser started.
- While a page is open: fingerprints of the paragraphs you typed or edited on that page, which is how the extension knows not to send text that was already there. They are one-way codes, not the text, and are gone when you close or reload the page.
- While Chrome is running it: the latest suggestions, kept in memory only.
Chrome clears the extension's stored data when you remove the extension (Chrome storage documentation).
How we use and share data
- We use the data above only to provide creavio write: to check and improve your writing, keep you signed in, apply your agency's spending caps, and show admins what each seat costs.
- We share your text only with Anthropic, and for originality checks with Copyscape, which for the plagiarism check searches the web for it, or for parts of it, through Google, only to produce the answer you asked for, and as required by law. Your email address also goes to our email provider, Resend, to deliver the emails described above.
- Cloudflare (our hosting provider) and Sentry (our error-monitoring service) handle the data described above on our behalf, as set out in "Where it goes" and "Logs and error reports".
We do not use it for advertising or give it to advertising platforms, data brokers or other resellers.
- We do not use it to decide creditworthiness or for lending.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received by the creavio write extension will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
creavio write uses the Google Docs API. creavio write's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information from your Google Docs is used only to show you issues in the doc you opened and to put in the fixes you click. It is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not used to train AI models. The only Google Docs text that leaves your computer is a paragraph you send with Improve this paragraph, which goes to creavio and Anthropic only to write the rewrite you asked for.
Your choices
- Turn Juno suggestions on or off for this browser, or off for a site, or turn the extension off for a site, from the creavio write button. This includes the sites that are on when you install it. Juno suggestions stay off until you turn them on.
- Use Improve and Check originality only when you want to; they never run on their own.
- Sign out from the creavio write button or its Settings page. Removing the extension removes its stored data from your computer.
- Connect Google only if you want to use the Google Docs view, and Disconnect Google at any time from the extension's Settings page or the Google Docs view. Signing out also disconnects Google.
- Your agency's admin can remove your seat, which signs the extension out and disconnects Google.
- Your agency's admin can turn Juno suggestions off for the whole team, and can turn Juno suggestions, and Juno and originality checks, off on Google Docs.
- To ask about, see, correct or delete the records creavio keeps about your seat, email [email protected]. Admin change records are kept for 1 year for security and cannot be deleted sooner.
Who is responsible, and your rights
Your agency decides who gets a seat and sets the switches above. creavio handles your seat records and the text you send on your agency's behalf. To see, correct or delete your records, or to ask about your rights under your state's privacy law, email [email protected]; we will also tell your agency. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
creavio write is for people who work at agencies. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has used it, email [email protected] and we will delete the records.
Changes
If what the extension sends or what creavio keeps changes, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change ships, and email your agency's creavio admins at least 30 days before it ships (or as soon as possible when a change is needed for security or by law). If the change is to what Juno suggestions send, the new version of the extension shows you the Juno suggestions screen again when it is installed (or when you next sign in or open its menu), and sends nothing for Juno suggestions until you turn them on again. If a new version of the extension needs a new permission that Chrome warns about, Chrome turns the extension off until you accept the new permission (Chrome permission warnings).
