Account Activity Log

Account Activity Log

The activity log records every significant action taken in your creavio account. Whether you need to verify when a contract was sent, check who logged in, or audit changes for security, the activity log has the answer.

Where to Find It

Go to Settings > Account > Activity Log. The log displays events in reverse chronological order with the most recent actions at the top.

What's Logged

The activity log captures a comprehensive range of actions:

Account actions:

  • Login and logout events (including IP address and device)
  • Password changes
  • Two-factor authentication changes
  • Plan upgrades or downgrades
  • Integration connections and disconnections

Client actions:

  • Client records created, updated, or archived
  • Client data exports
  • Client data deletions (GDPR compliance)

Financial actions:

  • Invoices created, sent, paid, or voided
  • Refunds processed
  • Payment plan modifications
  • Stripe connection changes

Content actions:

  • Galleries created, published, or deleted
  • Website pages published or unpublished
  • Contracts sent or signed
  • Email templates created or modified

Filtering the Log

The activity log can contain thousands of entries. Use filters to find what you need:

  • Date range: Narrow to a specific time period
  • Action type: Filter by category (account, client, financial, content)
  • User: If you have team members, filter by who performed the action
  • Search: Free-text search across all log entries

Security Monitoring

The activity log is your first line of defense for account security. Review it periodically for:

  • Login attempts from unfamiliar IP addresses or locations
  • Actions you don't recognize
  • Unusual patterns like bulk data exports or deletions

Data Retention

Activity logs are retained for 12 months on standard plans and 24 months on professional plans. After that, older entries are archived. If you need long-term audit records, export the log periodically using the Export button at the top of the activity log page.

The activity log is read-only. Log entries cannot be edited or deleted by any user, ensuring the integrity of your audit trail.
