Cmd+K Is Your Fastest Path to Anything
The command palette is creavio's power user interface. Press Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K on Windows) from any page and you get instant access to navigation, creation, search, and actions without touching the mouse.
If you only learn one keyboard shortcut, make it this one.
What You Can Do
Navigation
Type the name of any page and hit Enter to jump there instantly:
- "clients" → Opens the Clients page
- "calendar" → Opens the Bookings calendar
- "invoices" → Opens Money > Invoices
- "settings" → Opens Settings
- "analytics" → Opens Growth > Analytics
You do not need to type the full page name. "inv" matches Invoices. "cal" matches Calendar. creavio fuzzy-matches your input and shows the best results.
Search
Search across your entire account from the command palette:
- Client search: Type a client's name to find their record. "Sarah Johnson" pulls up the client profile instantly.
- Invoice search: Type an invoice number or client name to find specific invoices.
- Session search: Find upcoming or past sessions by client name or date.
- Help search: Type a question and creavio surfaces relevant help articles.
Quick Create
Create new items without navigating to the page first:
- "new client" → Opens the new client form
- "new invoice" → Opens the invoice creator
- "new session" → Opens the session booking form
- "new contract" → Opens the contract builder
- "new collection" → Opens the gallery creator
Quick Actions
Perform actions directly from the palette:
- "toggle dark mode" → Switches between light and dark theme
- "copy booking link" → Copies your booking page URL to clipboard
- "view notifications" → Opens your notification center
Tips for Speed
Use it for everything. The command palette is faster than clicking through menus for almost every action. Train yourself to reach for Cmd+K before reaching for the mouse.
Learn the shortcuts within shortcuts. When search results appear, use arrow keys to navigate and Enter to select. Escape closes the palette.
Recently accessed items appear first. If you visit the same client 5 times a day, their name will be the first result when you start typing it.
Context-Aware Actions
The command palette knows where you are. If you open it while viewing a client record, it surfaces client-specific actions: "send invoice to this client," "create session for this client," "view this client's galleries." The palette adapts to your context.
Power users live in the command palette. Once you build the muscle memory, you will wonder how you ever used creavio without it.
