Email Verification
A verified email address is essential for account security, password recovery, and receiving important notifications about your creavio account.
Verifying Your Email
When you sign up, creavio sends a verification email to the address you provided. Click the Verify Email button in that email to confirm your account. The link is valid for 24 hours.
If you didn't receive the email:
- Check your spam or promotions folder
- Go to Settings > Account and click Resend Verification Email
- Make sure you entered the correct email address during signup
Why Verification Matters
An unverified account has limited functionality:
- You cannot send email campaigns or client communications
- Payment features require a verified email
- Password reset emails only work with a verified address
- Some integrations require verification before connecting
Changing Your Email Address
To update your email, go to Settings > Account > Email and enter your new address. creavio will:
- Send a verification link to the new email address
- Keep your old email active until the new one is verified
- Notify your old email that a change was requested (for security)
Once you verify the new address, it becomes your primary email immediately. All future notifications, password resets, and client communications will use the new address.
Security Considerations
Your email is the primary recovery method for your account. Use an email address you have long-term access to — avoid temporary or work emails that might become inaccessible. If you lose access to your verified email, contact creavio support with your account details for manual recovery.
Multiple Email Addresses
creavio currently supports one email per account. If you need separate logins for different businesses, create separate creavio accounts with different email addresses.
