Collection Templates
If you deliver galleries with similar layouts — weddings, senior sessions, family portraits — templates let you set up the structure once and reuse it for every client.
Creating a Template
- Go to Collections > Templates
- Click + New Template
- Name the template (e.g., "Wedding Delivery" or "Senior Portrait Gallery")
- Configure the layout, cover style, and sorting options
- Set default permissions (download, favorites, sharing)
- Choose a color theme and branding options
- Click Save Template
What's Saved in a Template
Templates store all the design and permission settings — not the images themselves:
- Layout — grid, masonry, slideshow, or horizontal scroll
- Cover design — image selection, text overlay, font, and color
- Download settings — allowed sizes, PIN protection, download limits
- Proofing settings — favorites enabled, selection limits, approval workflow
- Expiration — default number of days before the collection expires
- Branding — watermark, logo placement, color scheme
Using a Template
When creating a new collection, click Start from Template instead of building from scratch. Select your template, add images, and you're ready to share. You can still override any template setting on a per-collection basis.
Managing Templates
- Edit a template anytime — changes only apply to new collections, not existing ones
- Duplicate a template to create variations (e.g., "Wedding Delivery - Full" vs. "Wedding Delivery - Sneak Peek")
- Delete templates you no longer use
Templates are the fastest way to maintain consistent branding and delivery standards across every client experience.
