Video Delivery

Modern photography sessions often include short video clips — behind-the-scenes footage, ceremony highlights, or social-media reels. creavio lets you upload and deliver video files right alongside your photos so clients get everything in one place.

Supported Formats

creavio accepts the most common video formats:

MP4 (H.264) — recommended for broadest compatibility
MOV — common from iPhone and cinema cameras
WEBM — lightweight web-optimized format

Maximum file size per video is 2 GB. For larger files, consider compressing with HandBrake or a similar tool before uploading.

Uploading Videos

Drag video files into any collection the same way you would photos. creavio processes the upload in the background and generates a thumbnail from the first frame. You'll see a progress indicator while the file transfers. Once complete, the video appears in the gallery grid with a play icon overlay.

Client Playback

When clients open the collection, they can play videos inline without leaving the gallery. Playback is optimized for both desktop and mobile browsers with adaptive bitrate streaming. Clients can also download the original file if you've enabled downloads for that collection.

Organizing Mixed Media

You can intermix photos and videos freely. Use the sort controls to group videos together or scatter them throughout the timeline. Pin key videos to the top of the collection so clients see them first.

Best Practices

Export videos at 1080p for the best balance of quality and file size
Keep clips under 3 minutes — clients engage more with short content
Add a cover image to each video for a cleaner gallery appearance
