Getting Started Checklist

Getting Started Checklist

The Getting Started Checklist walks you through setting up your creavio account step by step. Each item unlocks a core feature and gets your business running on the platform faster.

The 9 Steps

Here's what you'll complete:

  • 1. Verify Your Email — confirm your email address to unlock sending capabilities
  • 2. Complete Your Profile — add your name, photo, business name, and specialties
  • 3. Set Your Brand — upload your logo, choose your brand colors, and set your typography
  • 4. Connect Stripe — link your Stripe account to start accepting payments
  • 5. Add Your First Client — create a client record manually or import from a CSV
  • 6. Create a Service — define a session type with pricing, duration, and description
  • 7. Set Up Booking — configure your availability and booking page
  • 8. Send Your First Invoice — create and send an invoice to experience the payment flow
  • 9. Connect a Social Account — link Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok for social features

Tracking Progress

The checklist appears on your dashboard with a progress bar. Completed steps show a green checkmark. Click any incomplete step to jump directly to that setup screen.

You don't have to complete the steps in order. Jump to whatever feels most relevant to your business right now. Some photographers start with branding, others with payments — there's no wrong sequence.

Skipping Steps

Every step can be skipped if it's not relevant yet. Click Skip for Now on any step. You can always come back to it later from Settings > Getting Started.

Completing the Checklist

Once all 9 steps are finished (or skipped), the checklist hides from your dashboard and your full business metrics take its place. You'll also see a congratulations notification.

Returning to the Checklist

Need to revisit a setup step? Go to Settings > Getting Started to see the full checklist at any time, even after completion. This is useful when you want to update something you initially skipped, like connecting Stripe later on.
