Setting Up Your Brand

Setting Up Your Brand in creavio

Your brand is what clients remember between the shoot and the delivery. If your invoices, galleries, and booking pages all look different, you look disorganized. creavio lets you set your brand once and apply it everywhere.

This guide walks you through Settings > Branding step by step.

Uploading Your Logo

Go to Settings > Branding. You will see two logo slots at the top of the page:

  • Primary logo — used on your website header, invoices, contracts, and email headers. Upload a horizontal version if you have one.
  • Icon mark — used for favicons, mobile app icons, and small-format placements. A square version of your logo works best here.

Accepted formats: PNG, SVG, or JPG. For the sharpest results, upload your logo as an SVG or a PNG with a transparent background at least 800px wide.

Once uploaded, your logo immediately appears on your booking pages, client portal, gallery covers, and invoices. No extra configuration needed.

Setting Your Brand Colors

Scroll down to the Colors section. You can set:

  • Primary color — buttons, links, active states, and accent elements across your site and client-facing pages
  • Secondary color — supporting elements like hover states and section backgrounds
  • Text color — default heading and body text color
  • Background color — base background for your website pages

Use the color picker or paste a hex code directly. If you already have brand guidelines from a designer, paste those exact hex values.

Tip for photographers: Dark backgrounds (#1a1a1a or similar) make your photos pop. Light backgrounds (#fafafa) feel cleaner for wedding and portrait work. Pick what matches your style and stick with it.

Choosing Your Fonts

Under Typography, you can set two font families:

  • Heading font — used for page titles, section headers, and gallery names
  • Body font — used for paragraphs, descriptions, and form labels

creavio includes a library of Google Fonts. Popular choices among photographers:

  • Playfair Display + Lato — elegant editorial feel
  • Poppins + Inter — modern and clean
  • Cormorant Garamond + Source Sans Pro — classic luxury

Font changes apply to your website, collection pages, and all client-facing documents.

Brand Preview

At the bottom of the Branding page, you will see a live preview showing how your logo, colors, and fonts look together on a sample page. Check this before saving. What looks good as a standalone color swatch does not always work when applied to real content.

Where Your Brand Appears

Once saved, your brand settings automatically apply to:

  1. Your website — all pages built in the website builder
  2. Invoices and contracts — your logo in the header, brand colors on buttons
  3. Booking pages — the page clients see when they schedule with you
  4. Client portal — your branded space where clients access their galleries and documents
  5. Email headers — transactional emails include your logo
  6. Collection pages — gallery and proofing pages carry your brand
  7. Link in Bio — your Link in Bio page uses your brand colors

Common Questions

Can I use different branding for different clients? Not at the individual client level. Your brand settings are account-wide. For studios managing multiple brands, the Agency plan supports multi-brand management.

Will changing my brand colors break my website? No. Your website theme may override certain brand colors with section-specific styles. The brand colors act as defaults that the visual editor pulls from.

I do not have a logo yet. What should I do? Start without one. creavio displays your business name as text in places where a logo would go. You can upload a logo anytime later.
