Link in Bio Setup

Link in Bio Setup

Instagram gives you one link. You need it to go to your portfolio, booking page, latest blog post, and pricing guide simultaneously. A Link in Bio page solves this by giving you a landing page with all your important links in one place.

Creating Your Link in Bio

  1. Go to Marketing > Link in Bio
  2. Click Set Up if this is your first time
  3. Choose a theme — 5 built-in themes from minimal to bold
  4. Your page is live at yourdomain.com/links (or creav.io/yourname/links)

Adding Links

Click + Add Link for each item. Each link has:

  • Title — what the visitor sees (e.g., "Book a Session", "View Portfolio", "Latest Blog Post")
  • URL — where it goes. Can be internal (your booking page) or external (your Spotify playlist, Amazon storefront, etc.)
  • Icon — optional emoji or icon next to the title
  • Visibility — toggle links on/off without deleting them. Useful for seasonal promotions.

Drag links to reorder them. Put your most important link at the top — that is where most clicks go.

Link Ideas for Photographers

  • Book a Session — link to your booking page
  • View Portfolio — link to your portfolio page
  • Pricing & Packages — link to your pricing page or a PDF
  • Latest Blog Post — update this monthly with your newest session feature
  • Client Gallery Access — link to the client portal login
  • Google Review — direct link to leave a review
  • Contact Me — link to your contact form
  • Mini Session Special — seasonal link for promotions

Customizing Appearance

Under Appearance, configure:

  • Profile photo — your headshot or logo
  • Display name — your name or business name
  • Bio text — one line about what you do (e.g., "DC wedding & portrait photographer")
  • Theme — 5 options: Minimal, Classic, Dark, Gradient, and Bold. Each uses your brand colors.
  • Button style — rounded, square, or pill-shaped
  • Social icons — add clickable icons for your social profiles at the top or bottom

Analytics

The Link in Bio page tracks:

  • Total views — how many people visited the page
  • Click-through rate per link — which links get the most clicks
  • Top referrers — where visitors come from (usually Instagram)

Use this data to reorder links and remove underperforming ones. If "Book a Session" gets 40% of clicks and "My Playlist" gets 1%, move the playlist to the bottom or remove it.

Using Your Link in Bio

Copy the URL from the Link in Bio settings and paste it into:

  • Instagram bio
  • TikTok bio
  • Twitter/X bio
  • Email signature
  • Google Business Profile website field

One link everywhere, pointing to one page you fully control.
