Financial Dashboard Customization
Every photographer runs their business differently. Some obsess over monthly revenue targets. Others track expenses like a hawk. creavio's financial dashboard is fully customizable so you see the numbers that matter to your business at a glance.
Default Dashboard
Out of the box, your financial dashboard shows:
- Revenue this month — total payments received
- Outstanding invoices — unpaid invoice total
- Expenses this month — total logged expenses
- Net profit — revenue minus expenses
These four widgets give you a quick health check, but you can do much more.
Adding Widgets
Click Customize Dashboard in the top-right corner to enter edit mode. The widget library includes:
- Revenue chart — monthly revenue over time as a bar or line chart
- Invoice aging — breakdown of invoices by how overdue they are
- Top clients — your highest-revenue clients this year
- Expense breakdown — pie chart of spending by category
- Tax estimate — quarterly estimated tax based on profit
- Booking forecast — projected revenue from upcoming confirmed sessions
- Year-over-year comparison — this year vs. last year performance
Rearranging the Layout
Drag widgets to reorder them. Place the most important metrics at the top where you'll see them first. Resize widgets by dragging the corner handle — make your revenue chart wide and your expense breakdown compact.
Date Range Controls
Each widget respects the global date range selector at the top of the dashboard. Switch between this week, this month, this quarter, this year, or a custom range. All widgets update simultaneously so you get a consistent view across every metric.
Saving Layouts
Your dashboard layout saves automatically. You can also create multiple saved layouts — one for daily check-ins, another for quarterly reviews, another for tax prep. Switch between layouts from the dropdown menu next to the customize button.
Dashboard customization is available on all plans. Some advanced widgets like tax estimates and year-over-year comparisons require the Pro plan.
