Financial Goals
Setting clear financial targets keeps your business moving forward. creavio's Financial Goals feature helps you define revenue milestones, savings targets, and expense budgets — then tracks your progress in real time.
Creating a Financial Goal
- Go to Money > Goals
- Click + New Goal
- Choose a goal type: Revenue, Savings, or Budget
- Set the target amount (e.g., $75,000 annual revenue)
- Choose the time period: monthly, quarterly, or annual
- Add a label like "2026 Revenue Target" or "New Lens Fund"
- Click Save
Tracking Progress
Your goals dashboard shows a visual progress bar for each active goal. The bar fills as income is recorded (for revenue goals) or as you stay under budget (for expense goals). You'll see:
- Current progress as a percentage and dollar amount
- Pace indicator — are you ahead or behind where you should be?
- Projected outcome based on your current pace
- Time remaining in the goal period
Goal Types Explained
- Revenue Goals track total income from invoices and payments received
- Savings Goals track money set aside for a specific purpose (gear, education, emergency fund)
- Budget Goals set a spending ceiling for a category like marketing or travel
Using Goals Effectively
Start with one annual revenue goal and one monthly budget goal. As you get comfortable, layer in savings goals for specific purchases. Review your goals weekly to stay aligned with your targets.
Financial goals turn vague ambitions into measurable progress — the difference between hoping for a good year and planning for one.
