How to Send a Contract

1. Go to Contracts

Open the Money tile from your home dashboard or All Apps, then switch to the Contracts tab. You'll see your contract list and any saved templates.

2. Start a New Contract

Click New Contract. You can either choose from a saved template or start from scratch. Templates save time for contracts you send regularly, like wedding agreements or portrait session terms.

3. Choose or Create a Template

If using a template, select it from the list and it will pre-fill the contract content. If starting fresh, write your terms directly in the editor. The rich text editor supports headings, lists, bold, and italic formatting.

4. Assign a Client

Search for the client who needs to sign this contract. Their name and email will be used for the signature request. You can also add the contract to an existing booking or invoice.

5. Customize Terms

Review and adjust any details specific to this engagement:

  • Session date and location
  • Deliverables and timeline
  • Payment terms and cancellation policy
  • Usage rights for the images or video

6. Send for Signing

Click Send to deliver the contract to your client's email. They'll receive a branded link where they can review the terms and sign electronically. You'll be notified the moment they sign.

Tips

  • Save contracts you use often as templates to speed up your workflow.
  • Combine contracts with proposals for a seamless package-to-signing experience.
  • Signed contracts are stored permanently in the client's profile for your records.
