Recurring Transactions
Many business expenses happen on a predictable schedule — studio rent, software subscriptions, insurance premiums. creavio's recurring transactions feature lets you set these up once and forget about them.
Setting Up a Recurring Transaction
- Go to Money > Transactions and click + New Transaction
- Fill in the amount, category, and description
- Toggle Make Recurring
- Choose the frequency: weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually
- Set the start date and optional end date
- Click Save
Managing Active Recurring Transactions
View all active recurring transactions under Money > Recurring. From here you can:
- Pause — temporarily stop a recurring transaction without deleting it
- Edit — change the amount, frequency, or category
- Delete — permanently remove the schedule
- View History — see every instance that's been generated
How Recurring Transactions Appear
Each time a recurring transaction is due, creavio creates a new entry in your transaction list. It's marked with a repeat icon so you can distinguish it from one-off entries. If a bank-imported transaction matches a recurring one, creavio will suggest merging them to avoid duplicates.
Common Use Cases for Creatives
- Adobe Creative Cloud subscription
- Studio or co-working space rent
- Equipment insurance payments
- Cloud storage fees
- Website hosting and domain renewals
Setting up recurring transactions gives you a more accurate picture of your monthly overhead and helps with cash flow forecasting.
