Want to redesign your site without losing your current version? Carbon Copy lets you duplicate your entire website — pages, sections, content, and styling — so you can experiment freely.

How Carbon Copy Works

Go to Website > Settings > Carbon Copy
Click Create Copy
creavio duplicates every page, section, image reference, and style setting into a draft version
Edit the copy without affecting your live site
When you're ready, click Publish Copy to swap it live

Use Cases

Seasonal redesign — build a holiday or mini session version of your site in advance
Rebranding — test new colors, fonts, and layouts before committing
A/B testing — create two versions and compare client response
Backup — save a snapshot of your current site before making major changes

Managing Copies

You can have up to 3 draft copies at a time. Each copy shows:

Date created
Last edited date
Preview link (visible only to you)

Delete copies you no longer need to free up slots.

Publishing a Copy

When you publish a copy, it replaces your current live site. Your previous live version is automatically saved as a copy, so you can always roll back if needed.

Important Notes

Carbon Copy duplicates design and content — it does not duplicate client data, invoices, or bookings
Images are referenced, not duplicated, so copies don't double your storage usage
Custom domain settings and SEO redirects carry over automatically

Carbon Copy gives you the freedom to experiment without risk. Try bold changes — you can always revert.
