Account Security

Your business data deserves protection

Your creavio account holds client information, financial records, contracts, and creative work. Keeping it secure is essential. creavio provides multiple layers of protection so you can focus on your business without worrying about unauthorized access.

Password best practices

  • Use a strong, unique password that you don't use on any other site. A mix of letters, numbers, and symbols at least 12 characters long.
  • Use a password manager like 1Password, Bitwarden, or Apple Keychain to generate and store strong passwords.
  • Change your password if you suspect it's been compromised. Go to Settings > Security to update it.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security beyond your password. When enabled, you'll need to enter a code from your authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy) every time you log in from a new device.

  1. Go to Settings > Security.
  2. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
  4. Enter the verification code to confirm setup.
  5. Save your backup codes in a secure location in case you lose access to your authenticator app.

Session management

The active sessions panel shows every device and browser currently logged into your account. If you see a session you don't recognize, you can revoke it immediately. It's good practice to review your active sessions periodically, especially if you sometimes log in from shared or public computers.

Data privacy

  • Client data is stored securely and only accessible to you. creavio does not sell or share your client information with third parties.
  • Encryption — Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
  • Data export — You can export your data at any time. Your data belongs to you.
  • Account deletion — If you decide to leave creavio, you can request full account deletion, and all your data will be permanently removed.

What to do if something seems wrong

If you notice suspicious activity, such as login attempts you didn't make, invoices you didn't send, or client data changes you didn't authorize, immediately change your password, enable 2FA if you haven't already, and review your active sessions. Contact creavio support for additional help.
