Notification Preferences
Getting notified about a new booking at 2am is useful. Getting notified about every gallery view at 2am is not. Notification preferences let you control what reaches you, how, and when.
Accessing Notification Settings
Go to Settings > Notifications. You will see a matrix of event types and notification channels.
Notification Channels
- Email — sent to your account email
- Push — sent to your phone or desktop if you installed the PWA
- In-app — a badge and entry in the notification bell inside creavio
Each event can be toggled independently per channel. Want email for invoices but not push? Set it that way.

Recommended Configuration
For most photographers, this setup works well:
Email + Push:
- New booking confirmed
- Invoice paid
- Payment failed
- Form submitted
- Contract signed
- Proofing selections submitted
In-app only:
- Invoice viewed
- Gallery viewed
- Images downloaded
- Comment added
- New inbox message
Off:
- Nothing essential should be fully off, but "Gallery viewed" emails can get noisy for popular galleries
Team Notifications
Each team member controls their own notification preferences from their profile. As the Owner, you cannot override a team member's preferences, but you can see what notifications are available to each role.
Do Not Disturb
Enable Do Not Disturb in notification settings to silence push notifications during specific hours (e.g., 10pm to 7am). Email and in-app notifications still arrive — they just do not ping your phone. Events are not lost, they stack and wait for you in the morning.
