Client Activity Log
Memory is unreliable. Did you send that contract last Tuesday or Wednesday? Did the client open the gallery link? When was the last time you followed up? creavio's activity log tracks every interaction automatically so you never have to guess.
What Gets Logged
The activity log captures events across every part of creavio:
- Emails — every email sent to the client, with open and click tracking
- Invoices — created, sent, viewed, paid, and refunded
- Contracts — sent, viewed, and signed with timestamps
- Questionnaires — sent and completed
- Collections — galleries published, viewed, images downloaded, and favorites selected
- Payments — every payment received with amount and method
- Notes — manual notes you add to the client's profile
- Status changes — when the client moved between workflow stages
Viewing the Activity Log
Open any client's profile and click the Activity tab. Events are listed in reverse chronological order — newest first. Each entry shows the date, time, event type, and relevant details. Click any entry to expand it and see the full context.
Filtering the Log
Use the filter bar to narrow the log by event type. Want to see only payment history? Filter to "Payments." Need to review all emails sent? Filter to "Emails." You can also filter by date range to focus on a specific period.
Why This Matters
The activity log is invaluable in three scenarios:
- Client disputes — prove exactly when a contract was sent and signed
- Follow-up timing — see when your last touchpoint was before reaching out again
- Upselling — notice when a client has viewed their gallery 15 times but hasn't ordered prints yet
Manual Entries
Had a phone call or in-person meeting? Click Add Note to log it manually. Include what was discussed and any commitments made. These manual entries appear in the timeline alongside automatic events so you have one complete record.
The activity log is available on all plans and cannot be disabled.
