Your client hub
The creavio CRM is where every client relationship lives. Whether you're managing a handful of portrait clients or hundreds of wedding bookings, the CRM keeps everything organized — contact details, session history, invoices, contracts, and notes all in one place. This guide shows you how to add your first client and start building your database.
Before you begin
- Make sure your creavio profile is complete so client-facing documents look professional.
- Gather any existing client information you want to import (names, emails, phone numbers).
Step-by-step
- Navigate to the CRM. Open the Clients tile from your home dashboard, or click All Apps in the left sidebar and choose Clients to open the CRM dashboard. You'll see a list view of all your clients (empty for now).
- Add your first client. Click the Add Client button and fill in their name, email, and phone number. The email is required — it's how creavio connects invoices, contracts, and galleries to the right person.
- Add tags for organization. Tags let you segment clients by type, status, or anything else. Try tags like Wedding, Portrait, VIP, or Lead. You can filter and search by tags later.
- Write a note. Open the client record and add a note about how you connected, their preferences, or session details. Notes are private — clients never see them.
- Review the client timeline. Every interaction — invoices sent, contracts signed, bookings made — automatically appears on the client's timeline. This builds over time as you use creavio.
- Use the search and filter bar. As your client list grows, use the search bar to find clients by name or email, and filters to narrow by tag or status.
- Link a deal. If you're tracking revenue, create a deal in the Pipeline and link it to the client. This connects the financial side to the relationship side.
Pro tips
- Add clients as soon as they inquire — even before they book. Tag them as Lead so you can follow up and track conversion.
- Use consistent tag naming. Decide on a convention early (e.g., session type, year, referral source) and stick with it.
- The CRM search is fast — you don't need to scroll. Just start typing.
