What's happening
You've sent an invoice from creavio but your client says they never received it, or the invoice status still shows as pending in your dashboard.
Common causes
- The client's email address has a typo or is incorrect
- The invoice email landed in your client's spam or junk folder
- Your Stripe account isn't fully connected or verified
- The client's email provider is blocking automated emails
- The invoice was saved as a draft and never actually sent
How to fix it
1. Verify the client's email address
Go to Clients in your dashboard and open the client's profile. Double-check their email address for typos — even a small mistake like .con instead of .com will prevent delivery. Update the email and resend the invoice.
2. Ask your client to check spam
Invoice emails are sent from creavio's notification system. Ask your client to check their spam, junk, and promotions folders. If they find it there, have them mark it as "not spam" so future emails arrive in their inbox.
3. Check your Stripe connection
Navigate to Account & Settings > Payments and confirm your Stripe account shows as Connected. If your Stripe account has restrictions or incomplete verification, invoice delivery may be blocked. Visit your Stripe Dashboard to resolve any outstanding requirements.
4. Confirm the invoice was sent
Open the invoice in your dashboard and check its status. If it shows Draft, it was never sent to the client. Click Send Invoice to deliver it. If the status shows Sent, try using the Resend option to trigger a new delivery.
5. Share the invoice link directly
Every invoice has a unique payment link. Copy the invoice URL from your dashboard and send it to your client directly via text or email as a backup delivery method.
Still not working?
If you've tried all the steps above and your client still can't receive or access the invoice, contact creavio support and include the invoice number and client email address so we can investigate the delivery issue.
