Automatic confirmations
When a client books a session through creavio, they automatically receive a confirmation email with all the details: date, time, location, service type, and any notes you've included. This happens instantly, so your client never wonders whether their booking went through.
What's in the confirmation email
- Session details — Date, time, duration, and location.
- Service booked — The session type and any add-ons selected.
- Your contact info — So the client knows how to reach you with questions.
- Next steps — If you've set up workflows, the confirmation can include links to sign a contract, complete a questionnaire, or make a payment.
Customizing confirmations
You can personalize your confirmation email to match your brand voice. Edit the subject line, add a welcome message, include preparation tips, or attach documents. The email is sent from your creavio account, so it comes from your business, not a generic platform.
Session reminders
Reminders are sent automatically before the session date to reduce no-shows and make sure clients come prepared. You control the schedule:
- One week before — A heads-up so clients can plan ahead.
- One day before — A final reminder with all the session details.
- Custom timing — Set reminders for any interval that works for your workflow.
Configuring reminders
- Go to Bookings > Settings from the left sidebar.
- Find the Reminders section.
- Toggle on the reminder intervals you want (7 days, 1 day, or custom).
- Customize the reminder message if desired.
- Save. All future bookings will use these settings automatically.
Why reminders matter
No-shows cost you time and money. A simple reminder email one day before the session dramatically reduces missed appointments. It also gives clients a chance to reschedule if something came up, which is better than an empty slot on your calendar.
Reminders also serve as a touchpoint. They keep your business top of mind and give clients a chance to ask last-minute questions about wardrobe, locations, or timing.
