When your collection is ready, creavio gives you full control over how clients access it. From password protection to download permissions, every sharing option is designed to protect your work while giving clients a seamless experience.
Sharing links
Every collection gets a unique sharing link. You can send it directly to your client via email, text, or any messaging platform. The link opens a beautiful, full-screen viewing experience that works on any device.
- Copy the link from the collection settings and share it however you prefer.
- Send via creavio using the built-in email tool, which includes a styled message with the collection link and a preview image.
- Track views to see when your client opens the collection for the first time.
Privacy settings
- Public — Anyone with the link can view the collection. Good for portfolio pieces you want to share widely.
- Private — Only accessible via the direct link. The collection won't appear in search results or on your public website.
- Password protected — Viewers must enter a password before they can see any images. You set the password and share it separately.
Expiry dates
Set an expiration date on any collection. After the date passes, the link stops working and clients see a message that the collection is no longer available. This is useful for creating urgency around print orders or limiting how long images are accessible.
Download permissions
- Full resolution — Clients can download the original files directly from the collection.
- Web resolution — Clients get smaller files suitable for social media and screens.
- No downloads — Viewing only. Clients can browse but cannot save any files. Useful during the proofing phase before final delivery.
Best practices
For client deliveries, a private link with full-resolution downloads is the standard. For sneak peeks or proofing rounds, consider disabling downloads until the client has made their selections. For portfolio use, public links without passwords let you share your work freely.
