Understanding the Dashboard
The dashboard is the first thing you see after logging in. It is not just a landing page. It is a snapshot of your business right now — what is booked, what is owed, who needs a follow-up.
Here is what each section shows and how to use it.
Revenue Overview
The top section shows your income for the current month. You will see:
- Total revenue — all paid invoices for the period
- Outstanding — invoices sent but not yet paid
- Overdue — invoices past their due date
Click any number to jump directly to the filtered view in Money > Invoices. Use the date selector to switch between months or view quarterly totals.
Upcoming Sessions
Shows your next 5 scheduled sessions with client name, session type, date, and time. Each card links directly to the booking details where you can view the client profile, send a reminder, or reschedule.
If you have no upcoming sessions, this widget shows a prompt to set up your session types and share your booking link.
Recent Activity
A timeline of the last 10 events across your account:
- New client added or form submitted
- Invoice paid or viewed
- Gallery delivered or images downloaded
- Booking confirmed or rescheduled
- Contract signed
This is your at-a-glance feed for what happened while you were out shooting.
Pipeline Summary
A visual count of how many clients sit in each stage of your pipeline. If you see 12 clients in "Inquiry" and 0 in "Booked," you know where to focus today. Click any stage to jump to the pipeline view.
Tasks and Follow-ups
Any tasks you have created or follow-ups that are due today appear here. Overdue tasks are highlighted in red. Check them off directly from the dashboard or click through to the full task view.
Quick Actions
The top-right corner of the dashboard has quick action buttons:
- + New Client
- + New Invoice
- + New Booking
- + Upload Media
These are the four things photographers do most. They are always one click away.
Recent Media
A grid of your most recently uploaded photos and videos. Click any thumbnail to open it in the media library with full details, AI analysis, and editing options.
Customizing Your Dashboard
You cannot rearrange widgets yet, but you can collapse sections you do not use by clicking the section header. creavio remembers your preference.
Mobile Dashboard
On phones and tablets, the dashboard stacks vertically with the most important widgets first: revenue, upcoming sessions, then recent activity. It is the same data, just optimized for smaller screens. See our mobile experience guide for more on using creavio on the go.
